Dr. Henry has frequently appeared as the subject of medical documentaries on network and cable television programs and in newspaper articles concerning advances in the care of hand and wrist patients. As a result, this practice has become nationally recognized. Professional and collegiate athletes, doctors, and many other patients have traveled to Houston from across the country to receive care.Dr. Henry first appeared on network television after he successfully reconstructed a 4-year-old boy’s arm that had been completely bitten off by a Tiger.


He has been interviewed by Katie Couric and Good Morning America.

He has appeared multiple times on the Discovery channel demonstrating reconstruction of difficult wrist injuries and performing complex microsurgical techniques to functionally restore hand deficiencies.

Dr. Henry was a main subject of the ABC network prime time documentary series “Houston Medical”.

He has appeared on The Learning Channel series “Amazing Medical Stories” detailing a procedure he custom designed to rebuild a patient’s thumb from the inside out.

Dr. Henry appeared on ABC’s Debra Duncan show with another procedure he custom designed to help a young trauma victim move his arms again.
